Eric Carmen began his musical training at the age of 2 at Cleveland Institute of Music.

He wasn't only a singer, but was also a songwriter for silver screen.

It was "The Beatles and  The Rolling Stones" that  ignited his passion for song writing .

Eric was once the lead singer of the Raspberries power pop band in the early 70s.

The group's song "Go All The Way" peaked at number 5 on the Billboard chart.

Carmen wrote and sang  "Hungry Eyes" for Dirty Dancing  in 1987, which became a  chart-topping hit.

In 2000, Ringo Starr  acknowledged Carmen’s talent and invited him to join  Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band.

In 2004, the old Raspberries group reunited after 30 years  for a special concert in  Cleveland.
